This station is set into a concrete pad near the marina at Founders Park in Islamorada—just about 150 feet south-southwest of 872 3776 TIDAL 1. It is in good condition and was very easy to locate using the description, even though the Bar B Q Pit restaurant is no longer here. There should be at least one more tidal disk in this area, and possibly a few more. Next time, we will be better prepared and will try to find them all!
Recovered in good condition. Mark is located in Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina in Founders Park, in the northwest corner of a concrete pad just east of the eastern edge of the yacht basin drive. To reach is accurate although the Bar B Q Pit restaurant no longer exists. Handheld GPS coordinates for the bench mark are 24 57 52.3(N) 080 34 6.1(W).
